Custom Home Build
This is a new construction, two-story custom home on basement. Unique architectural features were incorporated into the home utilizing the owner’s eclectic collection of antiques and vintage décor. The residence has a large deck across the back of the house providing access to the Living Room and the Kitchen. The side entrance of the home leads to a large mud room. From the mud room you enter the expansive, eat-in, farm kitchen with stone fireplace and open-beamed, cathedral ceiling. The kitchen floor is brick. The kitchen cabinet doors are made from wainscoting with the refrigerator wrapped with the wainscoting, also. A walk in pantry is just off the kitchen.
From the kitchen you enter into the Great Room which features a gas fireplace. The fireplace is faced with stone. The stone is used on the wall surrounding the fireplace. The mantle in the Great Room was crafted from a barn beam. The Great Room also features a beamed ceiling. Wide plank, hardwood flooring was used throughout the remainder of the home with ceramic tile in the bathrooms. An oversize, cast iron garden urn was converted into the Powder Room sink. The upstairs hall bath features a claw foot tub. In the Master Bath, an antique dresser was converted into the vanity to accommodate two vessel sinks. The Master Bedroom also has a gas fireplace.
The home has 2,958 sq. ft. of finished space, 1,764 sq. ft. unfinished basement and 525 sq. ft. deck. Ceilings are 9 foot. Stone material faces the foundation to match the exterior chimneys.
